After honing the craft of songwriting abroad while apprenticed as a shaman, Catnick smashed into bristol with little more than a microkorg and a guitar determined to tear up the circuit and shake up the scene. After Founding The Midnight Zu Catnick sharpened his musical blade on the grindstone of the UK and European festival network, touring relentlessly with The Zu and sharing stages with the likes of Akala, The Mouse Outfit, Dub FX, Will & The People, and the Undercover Hippy before shedding his acoustic wings and tackling the bigger systems head on. Since graduating from the Zu, Catnick has co founded the Bristol dance music label Live Culture Sounds whilst cultivating a thriving production studio in the heart of bristols cultural quarter. Alas, fire burned this studio to the ground, and from the smouldering ashes rises the phoenix DJINTOKU, Catnick's latest and most compelling work, positively shimmering with a message of feel good optimism and massive vibes.
